Two Arrested for Hillsborough Home Invasion Near Montgomery Border

Police arrested two young adults and charged them with invading a Hillsborough home and robbing the resident of money and a cell phone at knifepoint.


Arrested were Amir Enoe, 19, of River Park Drive in Raritan and Ahmad "Lucky" Campbell, 20, of Edgewood Terrace, South Bound Brook in relation to a home invasion that occurred in the Bloomingdale Drive area of Hillsborough, according to a Somerset County Prosecutor's Office press release dated July 8.


Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said the Hillsborough Police Department received a 9-1-1 call on Wednesday, June 17, at 2:45 pm, reporting a home invasion robbery. Detectives from Hillsborough and the Somerset County Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. Upon arrival, the victim said individuals entered his residence uninvited, physically assaulted him and robbed him of money and his cellular telephone.


Campbell allegedly threatened the victim with a knife and physically assaulted him during the incident. Enoe also allegedly physically assaulted the victim during the robbery.


Police arrested Enoe without incident and charged with him with first degree robbery on June 30, according to the prosecutor. Police arrested Campbell on July 2 without incident and charged him with first degree robbery. Defendants Enoe and Campbell were both lodged at the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
