School Bus Fender Bender in Monty, No Injuries

An 80-year-old school bus driver with multiple student passengers missed his turn on Country Club Drive in Montgomery Township on Tuesday at 8:12 am. He stopped, put the bus into reverse, and backed in to a Honda CRV.

Montgomery police determined the bus driver, John Paller, 80, of Trenton, missed his turn at Sandpiper Court. Paller reversed the bus into a Honda CRV driven by Mercedes Hyppolite, 63, of Lawrenceville. There were no injuries reported by any involved occupant of either vehicle. Both vehicles were able to be driven from scene. Police ticketed Paller for improper backing. He is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
