Monty High School Grad Opens Diamond Care Dental in Skillman

By Barbara A. Preston | Posted February 7, 2024

It seems a short while ago, Naina Kaushal Gogna was sitting behind a desk at Montgomery High School. Now she is back on the same street, Route 601, about a mile from her old school.

On Friday, February 9 at 5 pm she will have a grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony for her new dental office. The mayor of Montgomery will attend, and there will be giveaways, food, and drink.

It’s been 17 years since she graduated from MHS, but Dr. Kaushal Gogna says, “This is home for me." Her mother, Savita Kaushal, works at Montgomery High School as a teacher’s aide. Her father, Yugal Kaushal, works for Bank of America (used to be Merrill Lynch) in Pennington.

She has two brothers who also graduated from MHS: Neil is now an orthopedic surgeon in Newark specializing in pediatric spines; and Nikhil is an anesthesiologist at Rutgers Medical Center. “My mom is a super star, that’s all I have to say,” Dr. Kaushal Gogna says.

After graduating from MHS in 2007, she went on to attend the NJ Institute of Technology. She then graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2014, followed by a year-long intensive general practice residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Her new office, located at the corner of routes 518 and 601, is a “total startup," she says. “I am working to build a good reputation in this area.” It seems she already has one.

Dr. Kaushal Gogna is married and has two children: a three-year-old and a two-year- old. Her husband is Podiatrist Rohit Gogna and they live in Hillsborough.

Plans for the practice?

Dr. Kaushal Gogna says it will be a general family dental and cosmetic practice for patients of all ages. Other services she provides: veneers, Botox, and fillers.

What an inspiring story! Dr. Naina Kaushal Gogna’s journey from Montgomery High School to opening her own dental practice is a testament to her dedication to the community. I'm excited to see her offer family dental care and cosmetic services; it's so important to have accessible options for everyone. As a parent, I truly appreciate local dentists who focus on family health, similar to great practices like dentist in Longmont. Wishing Dr. Gogna all the best for her grand opening—I'm sure she will build a fantastic reputation in the area!
