Montgomery Charity Foundation Raises Money and Food for Somerset County Families

The Montgomery Charity Foundation (MCF) annual Kidsgiving event raised over $19,000 for Steps-Together, a Hillsborough charity that supports local families facing medical crises.

In addition to collecting cash, gifts, and gift cards, MCF also collected food for Montgomery and Hillsborough food pantries. MCF collected and donated over 1,000 food items.

Due to the pandemic, this year’s Kidsgiving was a socially-distanced drive-by event. Over two dozen local businesses and the Montgomery Township Education Association partnered with Montgomery Charity Foundation to sponsor this year’s event which included holiday music and vists from Santa Claus and the Elf on the Shelf. Approximately 100 cars took part in the drive-by event.

Montgomery Charity Foundation is a registered 501c3 whose goal is to support the local community. Board members include: Meghna Pabbathi, Rupal Shah, Marisa Narula, Hetal Soni, Ankita Patel, Raina Rauf, and Samira Ghani.
