Lucille Mae Youngberg, 86, of Waseca, Minnesota, died peacefully on March 29, 2025, after a short illness.


Lucille was born on her family’s farm in Wilton Township, Minnesota, on November 4, 1938, to Joseph and Mabel (Bathke) Schauer. She was a proud graduate of the Waseca High School Class of 1956.


On October 1, 1960, she married Karl A. Youngberg of rural New Richland, Minnesota, and together they built a life and raised their family in Waseca. Lucille enjoyed a long and fulfilling career in banking. She was known for her warm personality, strong work ethic, and dedication to her community. 


Lucille is survived by her son, Kent (Lisa) of Montgomery Township, NJ; grandchildren Kristin (Christopher) of Hawaii, Andrew of New York City, Matthew and Amanda of Montgomery, NJ; Henry of Wisconsin; and Oliver (Kendra) of Minnesota, and Katie Bendix Youngberg (mother of Henry & Oliver) of Waseca. She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl; and her son, Corey (Deb).
