Kathryn Tusa Cocciolillo

Died November 8, 2022

Kathryn Tusa Cocciolillo of Rocky Hill died on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 after a brief illness.

Born in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph and Patricia Tusa, she grew up in Kendall Park and attended school in South Brunswick Township. Kathryn was a long-time employee of FedEx, working as a customer service representative.


Cape May was a favorite vacation destination of hers when she and her husband, Bob, were not enjoying cruises, which they both loved to do over the years, to many of the Caribbean Islands,

She was a talented craftsperson making and selling jewelry, painting in the abstract and making clocks out of old 33 and one-third vinyl records. She loved nature, gardening, hummingbirds, and butterflies.

Predeceased by her parents, she is survived by her husband, Bob Cocciolillo, with whom she celebrated 40 years of marriage on February 13, 2022. She is also survied by two step-children, Rob and Michael (Emma) Cocciolillo; two step-grandchildren, Mia and Tyler; two sisters, Mary Beth (Albert) Kren and Eileen (Joseph) Calvanelli; a brother, John (Betsy) Tusa; nieces Stephanie Kren and Kelly Tusa Diehl (Matt); nephews Peter Calvanelli and Joseph Tusa (Alexis); and two brothers-in-law Gary and John (Karen) Cocciolillo.

Services will begin at 9:30 am on Monday, November 14, at the Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Avenue, Princeton, NJ followed by a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul Parish, 214 Nassau Street, Princeton. Burial will be at Rocky Hill Cemetery immediately following the church service.

Visiting hours are Sunday, November 13, from 1 pm to 3 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
