Jeananne M. Wansor, 67

Worked 30 Years at the NJ DMV

July 21, 1956 - February 10, 2023

Jeananne Marie Wansor was born in Jersey City and remained a life long New Jersey resident. At the age of five she moved with her family to Montgomery Township.

After attending Montgomery Township School District she graduated with an associate's degree from Somerset County College. She procured employment as a records clerk at the Department of Motor Vehicles for the State of New Jersey. Having worked there for nearly 30 years she retired at the age of 62 with a full pension.

Jeananne enjoyed reading and voraciously read a variety of material, history, fiction and religion being her favorite. This gave her an advantage on many topics of discussion with friends and family by adding her two cents or chiming in on an interesting fact.

Traveling was another one of her hobbies. She traveled through much of Europe; Alaska and California among the states. However her favorite place to be was at the local eatery with a beer in her glass and a burger on her plate.

An avid sports fan Jeananne loved her Giants football, Yankees baseball, and soccer. Yet, she was open minded enough to support any local team that would see post-season action.

Jeananne was brought up in the Reformed Church of America but embraced all persuasions of Christianity. She settled on the Episcopal Church. She also joined a Bible study group that became a foundation of friendship and faith in her later years.

Jeananne is predeceased by her mother, Jean Wansor and her father, John Wansor. She is survived by her brother, John Wansor Jr. of Milford, and her sister, Judy Wansor of Lambertville, as well as her niece, Emma Agostino of Lambertville. Memorial donations may be made to the ARC of Hunterdon. ■
