James Patrick Lang, 85

US Marine

1936 - 2022


James P. Lang, 85, former resident of Skillman, West Windsor, and Sarasota, FL, died January

11 at Meadow Lakes in Hightstown after a brief illness.

Born in 1936 to Mary Higgins and James Thomas Lang, Jim was raised in Fair Haven, where he attended Red Bank Catholic High School. He served active duty in the Marines from 1954 to 1957. Jim attended Villanova University and graduated with a degree in business. He worked most of his adult life for 3M company, until his retirement in 1993.


Jim had many interests: skiing, golfing, and exercise. He loved attending his grandchildren's school and athletic events. He was a dedicated and active member of the local recovery community; a former member of the board of directors of Crawford House in Skillman and an active participant in AARP.


A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Charles Borromeo in Skillman.


Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Lang. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia Russo Lang; his daughter Michele Lang Borsari of Bolton, MA and her four adult children: Madeline, Nicholas, Alex, and James Borsari; his daughter and son-in-law Jeanne Lang and Michael Fedun of Skillman, and their adult children Martin, Noah and Hope Fedun.
