Loved spending time with family

Died March 16, 2025

Helen Elizabeth (Atoeff) Paulino died peacefully in her sleep on March 16, 2025. Her son, Mark, and daughter-in-law, Jennie were by her side.

Born at home in Rocky Hill, NJ with no attending doctor, she liked to say she was born a "blue baby" but she survived! Her family moved to a farm in Montgomery Township, NJ where she assisted her family with daily farm work before leaving for school.

A Princeton High School graduate of 1954, she worked at a ladies apparel store after graduation where she met her loving husband, Robert L. Paulino of Princeton. Together they raised three boys in Hamilton Square, NJ. Aside from spending time with her family (her favorite pastime), Helen enjoyed puttering in her garden, beautifying her yard, and spending time with her Tuesday Night Girls Club.

She was the ultimate loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law and sister. Her passion and love for her family was beyond compare.

She is survived by her son, Mark L. Paulino; daughters-in-law, Jennie & Rose Paulino; her grandchildren (Skyler, Liam, John & Brendi & Joey Paulino; Sarah & Sonny Shetty); her brother, Will Atoeff, and great-grandchildren (Dean, Angelo, Isaac, Levi, Willow).

She's predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Paulino with whom she was married 66 years, sons William J. and Robert N. Paulino, parents Florence and Norman Atoeff, and brothers Ed and Art Atoeff.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
