Figuring we all need a good laugh, local comedian Steve Schwarz will host a free comedy show at CafeMerica on Saturday, July 31 at 7:30 pm, with outside seating available. The show is for ages 14-plus.
Montgomery Township show will feature five area comedians. "We are trying to help a local business, while bringing comedy to this area," he said. "We ask attendees to purchase at least one item from the menu during the show."
Schwarz is a computer literacy professor at Raritan Valley Community College. His first CafeMerica show on June, 19 attracted about 50 people, which was the indoor capacity then. Outdoor seating was not available on account of rain.
"Making people laugh is the best feeling in the world," Schwarz says.
A third comedy show is planned for Saturday, August 21, at 7:30 pm at CafeMerica.
