Connee A. Robbins, 92

March 25, 1930 - March 14, 2023

Guidance Secretary at Montgomery High School for 23 Years

Concetta Angela Robbins, (Connee), 92, of Skillman died on March 14 surrounded by family.

Connee was born March 25, 1930 at home in the Mount Rose section of Hopewell. She was the third of six children born to the late Arcangelo and Angelina Consiglio Castoro. She grew up in Hopewell before moving to Skillman with her husband Walter in 1956, where she lived for 67 years.

After high school, Connee worked at Rockwell Manufacturing in Hopewell, was a homemaker and eventually worked for Montgomery Township School District. Connee was a guidance secretary at Montgomery High School, where she worked for 23 years, retiring in 1995.

Connee enjoyed her home, her family, Christmas shopping, cooking a hot meal, and laughing with her sisters. Connee was an avid baker and gracious hostess who appreciated spontaneous visitors, and bringing her family together for holidays. A devoted Catholic, she was a lifelong member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Hopewell.

Connee leaves behind many whom she loved dearly: Her son Cliff and grandsons Michael and Eric; her son Tim, daughter-in-law Kathy and grandchildren Brian and Katie; and her daughter Karon; along with many nieces, nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by her husband Walter Milton Robbins in 1974, her siblings and their spouses: Jeanette Rhine, Anne and Frank Boyle, Joseph Castoro, Rose Caviano and Mildred Boxmann; and her brothers-in-law and their spouses: Chester and Rena Robbins, Carl and Ruth Robbins, and Clifford and Esther Robbins.

Connee will be buried at Rocky Hill Cemetery and, never wanting to be the center of attention, a private graveside service will be held for family only.
