Police Are Searching for a Woman Who Waived a Handgun to Rob TD Bank in Princeton

A woman with a black semi-automatic handgun entered TD Bank in Princeton, at the corner of Route 206 and Princeton Avenue, on Sunday at 2:56 pm and presented a bank teller with a note demanding money.


The teller handed over an undetermined amount of cash, and the suspect left the bank.


The Princeton Police Department responded first to the activation of a panic alarm at the bank's address, 883 State Road. Shortly after, a teller called 911 to report a robbery.

A WOMAN WITH A HANDGUN robbed the TD Bank at 883 State Road in Princeton, on the border of Montgomery Township, on Sunday, July 28.


Princeton police describe the suspect as a Black woman, approximately 35 to 45 years old, about 5-foot 7 inches tall with a heavyset build. She was wearing a white T-shirt, tan sweatpants, purple open-toe shoes, red glasses, and a necklace. She was also wearing a blue distressed baseball hat with two embroidered white L's, one of which was backward. She was last seen walking south on Route 206, near the Exxon Gas Station at 870 State Road.


The FBI recently released photos of the suspect. See below.
