Art, music, amusement rides, games of chance, obstacle courses, and festival foods are among the many thrills in store for 10,000 expected patrons at the Fifth Annual Montgomery FunFest at Princeton Airport on Sunday, September 15, from 12 noon to 5 pm.

The community festival is free, though there is a charge for parking, amusement rides, and food.

Organized by the Montgomery Business Association (MBA), the festival will feature more than 130 vendors, including local businesses, non-profits, artists, and food concessions. Attendees can ride in a helicopter, climb a rock wall, attempt the triple slide, and other amusements.

Fire trucks, planes, and classic cars will also be on display. The Montgomery High School band and dance team will kick-off the event at 11:45 am.

Entertainment includes live music from local bands Fitz and the Cats, The Shaxe and GoodWorks. Additionally, the festival will showcase performances by local organizations and businesses.

All day amusement wristbands are $20 (excludes Rock Wall and Wrecking Ball amusements). The MBA uses profits from Fun Fest to award $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors from the Montgomery High School. VIP Parking will be sold for $15 cash the day of the event and $5 parking is available in the grass on Airpark Road. Free parking is available across the street from the Princeton Airport at the Wall Street Office Park. Shuttle Buses will ferry attendees from the free parking area to the Welcome Tent. Handicap parking is limited and only available to those with a handicap placard who are physically unable to take the shuttle bus.
