James P. Crosson, Jr., died on August 16.

Born in 1939, he graduated from St. Joseph University, married Betsy Crosson, and joined the US Air Force as an officer and a pilot. After retiring from the Air Force, he moved to Belle Mead and worked for Trans World Airlines — where he started his career as a flight engineer and retired as a

captain at the age of 60.

He had a love for many things, including traveling, golf, tennis and flying. He enjoyed his final days watching golf in his favorite chair in Bradenton, Fl.

He was predeceased by his parents, James and Rita Crosson; his sister, Connie Lanni; and his wives, Betsy Crosson and Mary Crosson. He is survived by his children, Cindy Miller (Tim), Jeanne Dollar (Ed), JP Crosson (Stephanie), and his grandchildren, Ryan Dollar, Barrett Miller, Ashley Watson-Crosson and Charlie Crosson.

We are grateful for the love of Claire Levesque who made the last years of his life so happy. Also, Maria and Ed Hutchinson for their love and support. We would like to thank his caregivers, Cameron, Claude, Bob, Trisha, Erica an

d Zena for their compassion and care. We would also like to thank the hospice team for keeping him at peace.

His life was full and he loved it until the end!

At Jim's request there will be no services. Donations can be made in Jim’s name to The American Cancer Society. ■
