2 Stolen Cars, 1 Car Burglary and a Disorderly Person in Montgomery

Range Rover Stolen from Montgomery Home

On February 14, Montgomery Police responded to Brookline Court in the Montgomery Woods section of the township for a burglary to a residence and theft of a motor vehicle. Actors entered the victim’s residence through a front door and removed the keys to the victim’s Range Rover. The actors subsequently stole the vehicle. While canvassing, officers determined the actors attempted to enter another residence, but were unsuccessful. The actors entered an unlocked vehicle of another victim, however nothing was reported stolen at this time. The detective bureau is investigating.  

A car was stolen from a Brookline Court resident on Feb. 14.


Land Rover Defender Stolen from Dealership in Montgomery

Montgomery Police were sent to Land Rover of Princeton on Route 206 in Skillman on February 19 for a reported stolen vehicle. Land Rover staff informed the officers that a 2025 Land Rover Defender was picked up by a company to be transported to a dealership in Maryland. Police were contacted after the vehicle never arrived at the intended destination. The detective bureau is investigating the theft.


Another Car Burglary at Skillman Park

Montgomery Police responded to Skillman Park on February 10 at 12:29 pm for a burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim advised that upon returning to the vehicle after walking in the park, she discovered the vehicle’s passenger window broken. A bag containing personal items was stolen from the vehicle. The detective bureau is investigating. 


Disorderly Person at Mango Tree Cuisine

Montgomery Police were dispatched to Mango Tree Cuisine on Feb. 12 at 6:48 pm for a person making threats.


Police determined Mani Raparla, 43, of Arlington Heights, IL arrived at the restaurant intoxicated and was causing an issue inside. Police said Raparla drove himself to the restaurant. Officers arrested him for driving while intoxicated and transported him to MTPD HQ for processing.


Raparla was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing, Open Container of Alcohol in a Vehicle, Reckless Driving and Careless Driving.  Raparla was released and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court.
